In Procorem, WorkCenters tie directly to Accounts. For each Account you can have a potentially unlimited number of WorkCenter depending on your Account plan. To learn more about WorkCenters in general, please review the WorkCenter Introduction article.
Account and User administrators, as well as for Members with the appropriate rights, have the ability to create new WorkCenters. To learn more about the rights required to create new WorkCenters, please take a look at the Security, Permissions & Guests section of the Help Center.
How to Create a WorkCenter
WorkCenters can be created in Procorem either from the Home screen or the Account WorkCenter screen.
From the Home Screen
To Create a WorkCenter from the Home Screen, select the “Create WorkCenter” button on the top right hand side of the screen.
Once you select the “Create WorkCenter” button, you will be put into a screen which asks for a bit more information on the WorkCenter you are creating. From here, input the Account this WorkCenter will be tied to, the name of the WorkCenter, any applicable categorization for the WorkCenter and a WorkCenter description. Finally, select save to create the WorkCenter.
Procorem Note: If you do not see the account for which you would like to create a WorkCenter, this means that you do not have sufficient rights to create a WorkCenter. The easiest way to better understand your access level is to ask the person that invited you into Procorem.
From the Account WorkCenter Screen
To create a WorkCenter from the Account WorkCenter screen, first head to the Home Screen and select “My Accounts” from the left hand navigation menu. From there, select the account for which you would like to create a WorkCenter.
Once you select your account, you will be placed in the Account WorkCenter screen. From there, select the “Create WorkCenter” in the upper part of the left hand navigation menu.
Selecting Create WorkCenter from this location will again put you in the “Create WorkCenter” screen. Enter your required and secondary information then select Save to create the WorkCenter.
Procorem Note: Did you know that you can use pre-built Templates in Procorem to get new project WorkCenters set up even more quickly? For more information, check out the WorkCenter Template section of the Help Center.
